Some Information Provided in Response to OPRA Request

On August 1, 2006, Leslie A. Fehrenbach, Secretary of the University responded to Rutgers Crew Association’s OPRA request. These documents, however, raise more concerns and questions than they answer. They strongly suggest that the vote to cut men’s heavywieght and lightweight rowing, men’s swimming, men’s tennis and men’s and women’s fencing was premature, results in costs that are not justified by anticipated savings and that it shold be reconsidered. These documents were not provided electronically. Please contact us with your fax number if you want copies.
